GTalk and invitations

I'm using google apps and gtalk but I haven't heard anything from
bot@timetracking.im. I
sent an invite to the bot, but still nothing. Gtalk says that the
bot is offline.

Ok, I think I have found the problem. This is because the user account is on GoogleApps and the SRV records have not been specified. This means the user cannot chat with anyone outside his organization.
